Thank you to those who nominated their volleyball program for the inaugural NCVBCA State Team Academic Awards.  Your qualifying NCVBCA nomination will also qualify you for the AVCA Team Academic Award.  A publication that will go to NCVBCA members is in development that will announce the 2017-18 award winners.  It should hit your mailbox in early August. 

Didn't qualify or get your Team Academic nomination in this year?  No worries.  Join the NCVBCA and make preparation to nominate your team for this fantastic recognition opportunity in 2019.

The North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association continues to chart an amazing course for the future of volleyball and the high school volleyball coaching community in the state of North Carolina.  Today the Association is proud to culminate a fantastic season of North Carolina high school volleyball with the announcement of the inaugural 2017 NCVBCA ALL-STATE TEAM.  The membership of the NCVBCA voted and selected 12 outstanding student-athletes that represent the best and the brightest across the state.  The NCVBCA is excited about the prospects for the future of high school volleyball student-athlete recognition.  Congratulations to the schools, coaches, families, and athletes for this prestigious honor!

Today marks a milestone for high school volleyball in the state of North Carolina with the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association's announcement of the inaugural NCVBCA All-Region Team for the 2017 high school season.  The Association is continuing to explore ways to advance the sport in our community with recognition programs like this All-Region team while also positioning the NCVBCA for opportunities to integrate coaches and student-athletes from North Carolina into the larger volleyball community through our affiliation with the American Volleyball Coaches Association.  Congratulations to the student-athletes, coaches, and schools represented on the 2017 NCVBCA All-Region Team!

2017 AVCA Annual Convention

2017 AVCA Convention...Kansas City, Here We Come!

The 2017 AVCA Convention in Kansas City promises to be another huge celebration of volleyball which will include the 2017 NCAA D-I Women's Volleyball National Championship at the beautiful Sprint Center in heart of downtown Kansas City. We anticipate over 2,300 coaches, administrators, club directors, and more at the Kansas City Convention Center, December 12-16.

Convention Registration will open August 9th!
