AVCA Announces 2012-13 Under Armour High School Watch List and the inagural AVCA Phenom List

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is pleased to announce the Under Armour High School All-America Watch List and the inaugural Phenom List for the 2012-13 season.

This year's Under Armour Watch List includes 343 players whose high school head coaches are AVCA members, representing 36 states and marks the beginning of the Under Armour All-America selection process. To view the full list click here.

The AVCA Phenom List includes 363 players whose high school head coaches are AVCA members, representing 39 states and serves as the starting point for the Phenom College Preparatory Program. To view the full AVCA Phenom List click here.

Registration Open for 2012 AVCA Annual Convention

The AVCA Annual Convention is heading to Louisville, Kentucky, home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby. In horse racing, the terms win, place, and show refer to first, second and third in the order of finish. In volleyball, these words will take on a whole new meaning this December. Make plans to join us December 12-16 to see who will WIN the 2012 NCAA Women's Division I Volleyball Championship at the PLACE of volleyball's biggest SHOW - the AVCA Annual Convention! High School All American Nominations

See the 24 best high school volleyball players in the country showcase their skills at the Under Armour All-America High School Volleyball Match. Brought to you by Under Armour and AVCA.

Requirements for nomination:

High School head coaches must be AVCA members in order to nominate.
The student-athlete must have completed her senior year of eligibility.
Head coaches must be using maxpreps.com,a free service to coaches, to upload team and individual statistics versus all opponents.
