As many of you may know the WVCA has recently partnered with MaxPreps.  As an association our goals are to recognize achievements of players and coaches on and off the court and to promote Wisconsin high school volleyball. MaxPreps will help us with all of these goals. MaxPreps will act as an easy-to-use central hub where our coaches can enter rosters, schedules, results, and stats. Doing so will enable us to more accurately rank teams, show statistical leaders all while giving the coaches in our state a web-based program that creates statistical databases, team pages with links to news articles, match programs with stat leaders from both teams, and much much more!  In addition to these features, MaxPreps is dedicated to helping promote Wisconsin high school volleyball on a national level through the creation and distribution of a newsletter and regular updates on our state's web page. We will now be able to share All-Academic Teams and Coaching Achievement Awards with a much broader audience. Volleyball in the state of Wisconsin has a lot going for it and this is just one more step in the right direction.

With Wisconsin's 2011 season underway it is time to start thinking about nominating players for All-State consideration.  Our All-State Nomination Link will be active starting on the first day of competition (August 23rd) and will close on our deadline which is September 16th.  An important and manditory step in nominating athletes involves entering schedules, rosters, and stats into MaxPreps.  This webinar is designed to help our state's coaches get familiarized with all that MaxPreps has to offer.
