Inaugural Illinois High School Clinic a Huge Success (3/1/2010)
The inaugural Illinois High School Volleyball Coaches Clinic, presented by Sports Imports and the American Volleyball Coaches Association, was a huge success as over 200 coaches, exhibitors and administrators attended Saturday's event at Brother Rice High School in Chicago.

Under Armour All-America Program




TEAM RED SWEEPS TEAM WHITE IN UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICA MATCH (12/20/2009)
Northwestern University signee Stephanie Holthus from Burlington Central High School in Burlington, Ill. was named Most Undeniable (MVP) for Team White.  Holthus had four kills, two errors on 11 attempts and added five digs defensively. 

 

 

 

AVCA Announces 2009-10 Under Armour Girls High School All-America Teams (11/29/2009)
The 100 players represent 27 states and 81 high schools including First-Teamer Stephanie Holthus from Burlington Central High School and Second-Teamer Lauren Wicinski from Geneva High School.  Illinois stand-outs Emma Goldschmidt, O'Fallon Township High School, and Abbey Heredia, Cary-Grove High School received Honorable Mention recognition.

AVCA Announces 2009-10 Under Armour Girls' High School All-America Watch List (8/11/2009)
Over 500 players from 37 states, including 35 from Illinois, were recognized.
 

Team Red Wins Inaugural Under Armour All-America Volleyball Match (12/21/2008)
Nebraska signee and Chatham, IL native Hannah Werth named match's Most Valuable Player.

2008-09 Under Armour All-America High School Team Announced (11/19/2008)
48 student-athletes representing 23 different states chosen for the third annual award including Illinois stand-outs Jessica Jendryk and Hannah Werth.
